Hey Y’all Hey

Before we jump into reading and learning the Word, I would like to share with you some items I started with on this journey.

So, who else is wondering where to start when beginning their journey to learning more about the Word.  Well, I was there once upon a time, and I am here to share four things I started with.

I started with the following:

• Bible
• Journals
• Pens
• Laptop/Phone

After you gather the items, you want to use for studying the bible comes the hard part, which is ‘Discipline and Consistency’.  Trust me, I am still working on both, but I am getting there, and we can work together on this journey.

1^st I brought this bible, https://amzn.to/45vsk2Y a few years ago and I fell in love with it.  It is the ‘She Reads Truth’ bible and it is in the Christian Standard Version.  I learned early in life that I couldn’t fully understand the Kings James Version and found out about other versions.  I have a student bible that is easy to read as well.  The She Reads Truth bible caught my attention because of the way it is formatted.  It has places along the pages for taking notes, there are devotions throughout the books of the bible, and I love how each book starts with an introduction.  This is a good bible to start your journey of reading and studying. 

2^nd The next item is a journal https://amzn.to/45PjKvI or https://amzn.to/3Em0jia  for several reasons, but my top two reasons are note taking and writing out my prayers.  My problem is trying to figure out what kind of journal I want and end up with more than I need at that time, but having extra journals is a plus.  You may want to start with just one journal, until you know what direction you want to go in when studying the bible.  It is always good to go back and see how you have progressed from the beginning.  Especially, looking at prayers and thinking back on how He answered them.

3^rd One of my favorite items are pens, I love all kinds of pens but currently my favorite pens are Pilot G2 size 10 https://amzn.to/3L6fRdL.  I always liked these pens but kind of left them alone because the other sizes weren’t doing it for me.  But my best friend told me that they have different sizes and size 10 is our favorite.  The ink flows out so smoothly and makes the writing so pretty.

4^th Lastly, I use my laptop https://amzn.to/45s8UvI (this one is similar to my laptop) or phone for looking up words and helping me find scriptures for different things.  I also use the YouVersion app for devotionals and reading plans.

I’m Tiffany Annette

I am looking forward to connecting with y’all as I continue growing as a Christian.  I started my journey on Easter 2013, so it has been ten years of me trying to navigate through the good, bad, amazing, and many more things life has thrown my way, all while growing as a Christian.  Often you hear people say certain things aren’t for the weak, but I will say the Christian Walk is exactly for the weak because along the way you will become stronger through God’s strength.  “My grace is all you need, for my power is the greatest when you are weak.” -2 Corinthians 12:9

It has taken me a long time to take this leap into blogging, but I am doing it now with hopes of encouraging others to take a leap into whatever they have been putting off.  My goal is to help and be an inspiration to others who are struggling with things this world throws at us, while we are minding our business and trying to grow as Christians.  I also want to help those who are not quite believers. 

Currently, one of my biggest tasks is reading the entire bible and taking the time to understand and learn how to apply it to my daily life.  Y’all are more than welcome to join me, but I am not starting from the beginning.  Let me explain, I am unique and different at times and this being one of those times because I am starting with the last book of the bible, which is Revelations.  I know y’all wondering why Revelations well it is a very interesting story behind it, which I will explain in another post soon.  I will be taking my time going through the bible because the bible has so many layers and can be difficult in certain area, but when the “Word start Wording” and begin to hit and stick, y’all oh what time we are going to have.

While taking y’all along with me on my Christian journey, I will also take y’all along with me as a mom and some of our family journeys.  I hope y’all are ready to join me and my family because we are a Krew worth following.
